SUPPORT THE SCENE

SUPPORT THE SCENE

10% of our revenue goes back to the music that brought us here.

Take Me To The Pit was never meant to be just another clothing brand.

It was created because of the shows, the bands, the venues, and the people standing shoulder-to-shoulder in a packed room waiting for the next breakdown to hit.

Some of the best memories of our lives don't happen in stadiums in front of 50,000 people. They happen in rooms that hold a few hundred. They happen while watching a band you've never heard of open the night and wondering how the hell they aren't bigger yet. They happen in parking lots after the show, talking to people you met in the pit an hour earlier.

Those places and those bands are where this culture begins.

That's why 10% of all Take Me To The Pit revenue will be dedicated to supporting local and emerging bands, artists, and eventually the independent venues that give them a place to play.

Not 10% of profits after everything else has been taken out.

10% of revenue.

When TMTTP grows, we want the people and places that built this scene to grow with us.

IT STARTS WITH THE BANDS

Every massive band started somewhere.

Before the sold-out tours, festival main stages, tour buses and millions of streams, there were tiny venues. There were opening slots. There were shows where 30 people showed up.

There were musicians loading their own gear into vans, driving hours to play a 30-minute set, selling shirts from a folding table, sleeping wherever they could and getting up the next morning to do it all over again.

Those are the bands we want to help.

As Take Me To The Pit grows, our goal is to use part of that 10% to support local, independent and up-and-coming artists who are still fighting to build an audience.

That support can evolve as the brand grows — helping bands with touring expenses, merchandise, recording costs, equipment, promotion, or simply putting money behind an artist we believe deserves more people listening.

We also want TMTTP to become a place where fans can discover those bands.

If we find an artist worth hearing, we want to introduce them to this community. Buy their merch. Stream their music. Go to their show. Get in their pit.

Because supporting a scene means more than wearing a shirt that says you belong to it.

AND EVENTUALLY, WE WANT TO HELP THE VENUES TOO.

There's another part of this ecosystem that often gets forgotten:

the rooms themselves.

The founder of Take Me To The Pit grew up going to shows at places like Chain Reaction.

Chain Reaction isn't a giant arena.

That's exactly why it matters.

It's the kind of intimate venue where you're only feet away from the band. Where there isn't some massive divide between the artist and the crowd. Where bands can develop a following before they're big enough to fill theaters and arenas.

Those rooms create musicians.

They create fans.

They create communities.

And they create the memories that people carry with them long after the show ends.

Independent venues like Chain Reaction have faced the same pressures that small music venues across the country face: rising costs, changing neighborhoods, unpredictable attendance, touring economics and the simple reality that keeping the doors open year after year isn't easy.

We don't want to wait until another important room disappears to talk about how much it meant to us.

As TMTTP becomes large enough to make a meaningful difference, our goal is to expand our support beyond bands and start helping independent hometown venues stay open longer than they might have otherwise.

Maybe someday that means helping fund a show.

Maybe it means sponsoring a local concert.

Maybe it means helping a venue replace equipment, cover an unexpected expense, or simply writing a check when a room that's given thousands of people unforgettable nights needs the community to return the favor.

We don't know exactly what that will look like yet.

But we know what we want it to accomplish:

Keep the doors open.
Keep bands on the stage.
Keep fans in the room.
Keep the scene alive.

THIS ONLY WORKS IF WE SHOW IT.

We don't want "10% goes back to the scene" to become a marketing sentence buried at the bottom of a website.

As this program grows, our goal is to make it transparent.

We want to introduce you to the bands we're supporting. Tell you where they're from. Show you where the money went. Highlight independent venues worth protecting. And give the TMTTP community opportunities to support them directly.

The bigger this brand becomes, the bigger that number becomes.

A T-shirt might not change the music industry.

But thousands of people deciding that their money should help support the culture they love?

That can do something.

Take Me To The Pit exists because this scene gave us memories we'll carry for the rest of our lives.

It's only right that we give something back.

SUPPORT THE BANDS.
SUPPORT THE VENUES.
SUPPORT THE SCENE.

TAKE ME TO THE PIT.
